15190 1924-1944 GNE R. Africa, Bata, 02/08, English, OM religious talk till 1930, then OM sermon-like, 1941'29 YL talk, 1943'02 OM sermon again � weak till 1930 under PBS, then poor and slightly better with usual local noise exactly on 15190, "S-peak" at around 1930-1935

5980 0550-0635 FNL Scandinavian Weekend Radio, Virrat, 07/08, Finnish, OM talks, Finnish pop songs, nice Andean instrumental music and Latin American or Spanish folk song � from weak to almost fair due to very unstable reception with deep fading and local noise Hope for a QSL

11980U 0650-0700 UKR R. Dniprovska Khvylya, Zaporozhye, 07/08, Ukrainian, OM/YL dialogues about Ukrainian legislation, etc. � poor-fair till 0700'00 only when AWR Wertachtal came on the channel with booming signal

6170 1116-1128 FNL Scandinavian Weekend Radio, Virrat, 07/08, Finnish, OM talks, Finnish music � poor under local noise, best in USB with 2.3 kHz bandwidth

5964.9 1459-1515 MLA Klasik Nasional, Kajang, 07/08, Malay, pop song, time pips, OM news with mention of "Klasik Nasional" at the beginning, then short YL talk and local folk song at 1512'10 � fair with heterodyne and two weak stations in the background

4940 *1858'18-1914 STP VOA, Pinheira, 14/08, English, OM opening ann with Yankee Doodle, news and then New Dynamic English radio course � almost fair with local noise, //4930 fair-good

4974.8 0214-0220 B R. Iguatemi, Sao Paulo, 15/08, Portuguese, Brazilian songs, YL talk at 0216'27 � poor under local noise after strong local storm

5952.47 0227-0237'59* BOL R. Pio Doce, Siglo Veinte, 15/08, Spanish, OM/YL talks with local music in the background and some slogans such as "Radio Doce la emission de la Paz", final YL ann with frequencies � fair and even better with splashes from 5950 (RCI and RTI)

11679.62v 1328-1338 KRE KCBS Pyongyang, Kanggye, 15/08, Korean, YL ann, folk songs � poor-fair with splashes from 11675 (CRI), //9665.36 with the same signal

12019.4 1342-1402 VTN Voice of Vietnam, Hanoi, 15/08, English, YL talks, 1353 Vietnamese song, pause, then Japanese program staring from 1400 - weak and better in LSB with strong splashes from 12020 (RDP) till their sign off at 1358'00*, then poor and better in USB to avoid KRE on 12015

7160.04 1746-1756 ERI Voice of the Broad Masses, Asmara, 15/08, Vernacular, OM talk, typical Horn of Africa music - fair, //7165 fair-good with ETH in the background and 7195 poor-fair with some unidentified station on the channel (ETH?) and heterodyne (one more ERI transmitter was on 7210 during this time with strong signal, but fair only due to splashes from both sides)

9710 1640-1655 ERI Voice of the Broad Masses, Asmara, 16/08, Vernacular, OM talk, typical Horn of Africa song and musical fragments - fair with splashes from both sides (KBS and DW), //7165 fair-almost good, 7140 fair and 7195 poor-fair

15120 0653-0714 NIG Voice of Nigeria, Ikorodu, 21/08, English, YL talks with some IDs, postal address and e-mail as englishservice@voiceofnigeria.org, 0658'49 start of French program with mostly YL talks including many IDs - very strong signal with usual slight tx hum and CRI till/from 0700 on 15120/15125

9750 1442-1454 MLA Voice of Malaysia, Kajang, 21/08, Malay, YL/OM talks with mention of "Assalamu aleykum", ID as "Radio Suara Malaysia", Malay folk songs - fair-almost good with NHK on the same channel

9665 1502-1512 MNG Voice of Mongolia, Kajang, 21/08, Japanese, YL talk with short musical pauses, 1509 Mongolian folk song - strong signal this evening, but mostly fair-poor due to CRI on 9665 and VOR/VOA/CNR1 on 9670

6135.03 0133-0147 B R. Aparecida, Aparecida, 22/08, Portuguese, YL religious talk, fragments of slow songs - poor-fair with local noise, also weak carriers was on 5035 and near 11855.2

5755 0205-0218 USA WTWW, Lebanon, 22/08, English, nonstop American old pop songs, short OM talk at 0216'23-'43 - fair only due to RTTY on 5753 and local noise

13845 1855-1910 USA WWCR, Nashville, 22/08, English, YL religious talks without any program name or addresses (not sure if this program is University Network as scheduled) - fair-almost good
