6170 1001-1008 FNL Scandinavian Weekend R., Virrat, 05/12, English OM ann with post and site addresses, then DX program in Finnish with mention of Classic Radio, etc. � almost good, then fair, then poor die to the downward local propagation

5980 1010- D Hamburger Lokal Radio, Kall-Krekel, 05/12, German, OM talk � poor with het., CW and splashes from 5970 (UKR)

6140 1022- CUB R. Habana, La Habana, 05/12, Spanish, OM/YL talks with mentions of "Musica Cubano", then Cuban song � fair-almost good //6150 poor

5765U 1200-1220 GUM AFN, Barrigada, 05/12, English, Radio News, then some reports including two ones about the World Cup in South Africa and US football group C there - fair-almost good Hope for a QSL

4850 1222-1302 IND AIR, Kohima, 05/12, local language, OM talk, two guitar songs, ID's, news, choral singing, etc. - almost good with some fading Hope for a QSL

15535 0925-0955 AUS CVC, Darwin, 06/12, R.Farda at the beginning till -09.29*, then CVC in English, many short OM/YL ann with mentions of CVC or CVC Radio and western pop songs - fair and slightly better with some fading and splashes from 15545 (IRN), also many short audio/modulation cracks QSL in 80 days

9677.3v 0617-0637* AZE R. Nagorny Karabakh, Stepanakert, 12/12, Azeri (thanks to W.Bueschel), YL talks with mentions of "Karabakh Respublika" and one "Space" music theme, short OM report in Russian, then OM talk � fair-good with usual distorted audio

11765 2002-2010 B Super Radio Deus e Amor, Curitiba, 12/12, Portuguese, OM talk, orchestral music - poor under local noise

4965 2220-2255 ZMB CVC, Lusaka, 12/12, English, YL short talks with ID as "Radio Christian Voice", English songs (mostly slow) - fair-poor with some fading and strong QRM from some DRM-like utility tx on 4965-4966 Hope for a QSL

7265 2300-2330 PHL Voice of America, Tinang 2, 12/12, English, opening ann, 5 minutes news bulletin and then "World News Now" with Robert Burns - fair-poor due to the downward propagation and splashes from 7260 (VOR) and 7270 (CNR) Hope for a QSL

6165 0005-0035 BON R. Nederland, Bonaire, 13/12, Spanish, YL talks about 2009 Summit on Climate Change with a lot of short interviews, frequency ann and pop song at 00.30 - almost good with CNR in the background Hope for a QSL

7190.1 0050-0058 CLN SLBC, Ekala, 13/12, Hindi, YL short ann, Indian songs - fair-almost good with SSB QRM

6004.9 *0100-0107 CLN SLBC, Ekala, 13/12, English, OM ID and frequency ann, religious talk and song - fair with het. and splashes from 6000 (TRT)

5070 0720-0740 USA WWCR #3, Nashville, 13/12, English, Dave Graveline's "Into Tomorrow" with some interviews with representatives of some US firms about the new technologies in communications, cable TV, Internet, etc. - fair-poor at the beginning, then poor-weak under local noise QSL in 54 days

9980 1302-1314 USA WWCR #4, Nashville, 13/12, English, patriotic speech by Pastor Pete Peters - fair with fading and local noise (also #2 was heard on 13845 at this time with poor signal

4750 1342-1400* BGD Radio Bangladesh, Shavar, 13/12, Bengali, YL/OM talks with some mentions of Bangladesh, two national songs, time signals, final ID as "Bangladesh Betar" - fair and even almost good with one unidentified Chinese station in the background Hope for a QSL

6135 1444-1454 YEM Radio Yemen, Sana'a, 13/12, Arabic, OM talk with mentions of Iran and Yemen, 1451 some YL and OM ann with ID, Arabic singing - good with some fading and local noise

13650 *1458-1525 USA WHRI, Cypress Creek, 13/12, English, opening ann with full ID, postal and site address, then IRN news, "Lifetime commentary" with final address in Minnesota, etc. - almost good at the beginning, then fair and poor due to the downward propagation, also QRM from on 13650 (CVC) and from 13655 (WYFR) (there were also a lot of short transmitter shutdowns during 1-2 or even 30-40 seconds) Hope for a QSL

4760 1618-1632 SWZ Trans World Radio, Manzini, 13/12, Ndebele, YL/OM dialogues in some radio show with short musical pauses - fair and slightly better (after many attempts during some last weeks I am not quite sure if Port Blair is still here or not)

3230 1910-1945 AFS WYFR, Meyerton, 14/12, English, Harold Camping's radio show with his answers to a lot of phone calls from listeners including one short ann at 1928 with mentions of Family Radio, site address and one phone number - almost fair this evening, also poor from time to time due to the distorted CW-like signals, RTTY on 3228 and Russian pirates Hope for a QSL

15120 1947-1957 NIG Voice of Nigeria, Ikorodu, 14/12, English, YL/OM talks with some announcements about various VON programs in the coming days, two African pop song - extremely strong signal with some fading, also short audio delays at the beginning

11765 2015-2040 B Super Radio Deus e Amor, Curitiba, 14/12, Portuguese, OM talk, song - poor with deep fading and local noise, //9565.2 weak Hope for a QSL

11780 2055-2105 B R. Nacional da Amazonia, Brasilia, 15/12, Portuguese, mostly OM/YL talks - poor with local noise, also some other Brazilian stations were heard this time on 4915 poor, 4985 poor, 5035 weak, 5045 weak, 9565.2 poor, 9629.9 weak, 9675 poor-fair, 11765 fair, 11815 poor-fair, 11854.9 weak and 11925 weak (last two ones are tentative only)

7125 2110-2145 GUI R. Conacry, Conacry, 15/12, French, OM talk with some mentions of Premier Ministre Kabine Kamara, then pop songs with short OM ann between them - fair with some fading, local noise and periodical SSB QRM Hope for a QSL

5025 0822-0830 CUB R. Rebelde, La Habana, 19/12, Spanish, OM/YL talks - fair, then poor due to the two utility stations including Russian USB on 5025 and DRM-like on 5023, also WWCR on 5070 with fair signal was on 60 m.b. at this time

6915 0840-0850 USA WYFR, Okeechobee, 19/12, English, OM/YL talk about the Bible and the Christmas - fair-almost good with some fading and local noise

3925 1208-1230* J R. Nikkei, Chiba-Nagara, 19/12, Japanese, YL/OM dialogues, orchestral jazz music � poor with local noise, fading and CW-like signals near the frequency QSL in 48 days

7420 1245-1315 CHN Nei Menggu PBS, Hohhot, 19/12, Chinese, YL/OM talks with a lot of phone calls from listeners � poor-fair with splashes from 7425 (CNR), //9520 till 12.52-12.53 only due to the propagation Hope for a QSL

5985 1348-1358 BRM R. Myanmar, Yangoon, 19/12, Burmese, YL/OM ann, local Indonesian-like pop songs - fair with splashes from 5990 (CRI+IRN)

9625 1405-1415 CAN CBC North Quebec, Sackville, 19/12, English, YL news and reports with some mentions of Canada and ID at 1409 as "This is the CBC news..." - fair-poor with deep fading and some unidentified station in the background (BBC? AFS?)

9840 1417-1428 USA WHRI, Noblesville, 19/12, English, "The Bible Speaks" program with some OM preacher - fair-poor-weak due to the downward propagation, deep fading and VOR on the same channel

7286.1 1728-1758* MLI R. Bamako, 19/12, Vernacular, OM talks, guitar-like local instrumental music, local pop songs, final short IS and YL ID in French at 1758 as "Radiodiffusion ... de Bamako" - strong = almost good signal at the beginning, but then poor under Sines at *1730-1757*

3345 1810-1820 AFS WYFR, Meyerton, 19/12, English, OM/YL dialogues on spiritual items, 1817 nice slow song (YL) - fair and even almost good thanks to not bad propagation from the South this evening

4949.7 1824-1838 AGL R. Nacional, Mulenvos (tent.), 19/12, Portuguese-like OM talk at least - weak under local noise and CW on 4952 and best in USB, also on 20/12 at 0447 with pop music and slightly better signal

4319U 1845-1920 BIO AFN, Diego Garcia, 19/12, English, live concert show from Los Angeles, ID on the top of the hour and then weekly ESPN sport program � fair-almost good with RTTY on 4322 Hope for a QSL

9745 0855-0908 TWN Voice of Han, Kuanyin, 20/12, Chinese, YL talks (two ladies), nice children's song, orchestral music and OM ann on the top of the hour, then YL talk like news - almost good at the beginning, then slightly worse with fading and splashes from 9750(NHK)

7275 0920-0950 KOR KBS World Radio, Kimjae, 20/12, Korean, mostly YL/OM talks with some short musical pauses � strong signal, but fair only due to CNR Urumqui on the same channel, also splashes from 7280 (BLR) and 7285 (CRI) QSL in 47 days

11985 1102-1132 TWN R. Taiwan International, Hu Wei, 20/12, Russian, news, report about the 53rd cinema festival in South Taiwan, etc. � almost good with some fading and CRI from both sides QSL in 38 days

4895 1138-1154 MNG R. Ulaanbaatar, Murun, 20/12, Mongolian, western and local poop songs, 1152 short YL ann - mostly fair with CW/RTTY on 4898, //7260 under two Chinese stations

9370 1158-1208 USA WTJC, Moreheard city, 20/12, English, song like Jingle Bells like, 1200 full ID, postal and e-mail address, then USA Radio News, talk about FBN Radio and Bible reading priogram - unusually strong during first some minutes, then slightly worse with fading and splashes from 9380(RSI)

9265 1210-1222, 1248-1254 USA WINB, Red Lion (tent.), 20/12, English, YL/OM talks - weak under local noise

13835 *1258-1338 USA EWTN, Vandiver, 20/12, English, choral singing, full OM ID as "This is the EWTN � WEWN, Birmingham, Alabama, USA" and then live catholic Sunday Mass - unusually strong signal with slight fading only Hope for a QSL

15360 1313-1324 CUB R. Habana, La Habana, 27/12, Spanish, YL/OM talks, full ID, musical pauses and Cuban folk song � excellent signal (SINPO 55555/55454) with slight fading only (looks like via European relay), //11760 weak under BBC, 13680 weak under R.Farda, 13780 poor under DW, 15120 fair-poor

15170 1325-1335 CTR REE, Cariari de Pococi, 27/12, Spanish, YL/OM ann, nice children's songs � fair with fading, local noise and splashes from 15180 (BBC) till 1330

9885 1342-1400* USA VOA, Greenville, 27/12, Spanish, OM ann, pop songs, final English ann and Yankee Doodle music theme - fair-poor with fading, local noise and VOR in Hindi on the same channel, //13715 and 15590 both poor Hope for a QSL
