6150 1059-1118 ALS KNLS, Anchor Point, 02/01, KNLS interval signals, 1102 tentative ID in Russian, orchestral music, more OM talks, etc. � weak under CNR1, also one weak station deeply in the background (TWN?) (it seems KNLS is one of the most strange stations in the world that chooses its SW channels so randomly)

6035 1305-1320 CHN PBS Yunnan, Kunming, 02/01, Chinese, OM/YL talks with short musical pauses � fair-poor with some fading and without any signs of BTN, also splashes from both sides (CNR1)

4910 *2129-2137 AUS ABC, Tennant Creek, 02/01, English, YL morning news with some OM reports � poor during some first minutes and then weak with splashes from 4905 (CNR), also on 4835 weak and 5025 fair-poor

4830 *2154-2208 MNG R. Ulaanbaatar, Altay, 02/01, empty carrier, 2201 OM ann, anthem, then OM/YL ann and YL news with OM phone report � fair with local noise

1431 0015-0050 DJI R. Sawa, Djibouti, 03/01, Arabic, YL/OM ann with many IDs, news at 0015 and news headlines at 0045, western and modern Arabic pop songs � fair-almost good Hope for a QSL

8400 1025-1035 TWN Xi Wang Zhi Sheng Radio, 03/01, Chinese OM/YL talks � poor-weak deeply under strong music jamming as on 9000 and 11300 at the same time

5020 1204-1212, 1225-1240 SLM SIBC, Honiara again, 03/01, English, OM/YL talks (relay BBC WS) � weak (but much better at 1225 with S-peak approx. at 1230-1235) with deep fading and local noise, also CW QRM on 5017, //9740

7190.1 1215-1223 CLN SLBC, Ekala, 03/01, Tamil, OM ann, South Asian songs � weak under local noise and best in LSB, //11905 almost good

9526 1618-1628 INS Voice of Indonesia, Jakarta, 03/01, German (new time or program feed error?), YL talks with musical pauses � almost good at the beginning, then fair and poor with het. (CRI) and splashes from 9520 (RFE)

4895 1015-1025 MNG R. Ulaanbaatar, Murun, 04/01, Mongolian, YL talks with fragments of orchestral music, 1022 local pop song � fair-poor with local noise and CW on 4898, //7260 poor under PBS Xinjiang and 4830 weak under utility on 4832

15341 1133-1143 MRC RTV Marocaine, Nador, 04/01, Arabic, YL talk, slow song (OM singer) � fair and even slightly better with fading, local noise and splashes from 15350 (TRT) till 1140 when "This is HCJB World Radio, Melbourne, Australia" came on 15340, then poor-weak

9625 *1151-1205 CAN CBC Nord Quebec, Sackville, 04/01, empty carrier, 1158 national anthem and then French YL ann and news with OM reports - fair and even better with fading till 1200 when NHK in English came on the channel, then fair-poor with splashes from 9630 (CNR)

5960 *1957-2030 ALB CRI Beijing, Cerrik, 05/01, English, Chinese orchestral music, pause, opening ann and then news and reports with one main subject on heavy snowfalls in the country � good with some fading and slight splashes from 5965 (VOR) QSL in 31 days

4004.4 2135-2145 CVA Vatican R., Vatican City, 05/01, Spanish, OM talk, 2139 IS and then in Arabic - poor with distorted audio, deep fading and local noise

6155 2155-2225 BLR Radio Station Belarus, Kalodziscy, 05/01, English, audio report from one listener in Sweden, some IDs, news, Belorussian pop and folk songs � almost good at the beginning, then fair with deep fading and CNR on the same channel Hope for a QSL

9810.0 2327-2347 ??? R. Republica, location?, 05/01, Spanish, OM talks including many IDs and address somewhere in Florida - fair and even better till 2331-2332, then poor and very poor due to the propagation (also on 06/01 between 0126 and 0144 with full ID at 0129 and "Espacio Plural" program - mostly good)

4750 0030-0105 CHN Qinghai PBS, Xining, 06/01, Chinese, long OM talks like radio play or literary program, YL ann with musical pauses and tentative ID on the top of the hour after time pips � fair-poor with one more station in the background Hope for a QSL

5060.0 *0359-0553 ??? Voice of Oromo Liberation (tent.), location?, 06/01, Oromo (or/and Amharic), OM/YL talks, typical HOA music and singing (it looks very much like VOL programs on http://www.oromoliberationfront.org/sbo.html) - fair-poor-weak (weak carrier only after 0500) during all this time slot due to the downward propagation and with slightly low audio level

4004.4 0559-0629 CVA Vatican R. again, Vatican City, 06/01, English, IS, opening ann with ID and then Tracey McClure's program on Christian history, educational system in Palestine and other subjects - fair-poor with slightly distorted audio, fading and RTTY on 4005 QSL in 30 days

7370 *0628-0656* ROU R. Romania International, Galbeni, 07/01, English, IS, opening ann, news and news comments, Song of the Day and Sports Club - excellent (only RTTY on 7372 was noted near), no any signs of signal on //17780 and 21600 due to the propagation Hope for a QSL

7345 0800-0827* CZE R. Prague, Litomysl, 07/01, English, IS, news and news comments with two main subjects including Vaclav Havel political activity and former chancellor Ivan Medek death, then report from Western Bohemia - good with slight fading only, //9860 excellent QSL in 12 days

15495 *1158-1229 D AWR, Wertachtal, 07/01, English, opening ann with IDs in 4 languages, then two programs including musical one with songs and talk on nature, and also "Bible Talk" - good-fair at the beginning, then fair with deep fading and local noise Hope for a QSL

999 2025-2059* MDA TWR, Grigoriopol, 07/01, Russian, "Life as it is" program on Orthodox Christmas with short Christmas stories, poetry and songs - good with one weak unidentified station in the background QSL in 19 days

5005 2252-2256* GNE R. Nacional, Bata, 07/01, pop music, final national anthem - fair-poor with local noise

4940 2305-2335 CHN Voice of the Strait, Fuzhou, 07/01, Chinese, a lot of short OM/YL talks with some short musical pauses - fair-poor with local noise, //6115 fair with CNR splashes from 6110 Hope for a QSL

1035 *0300-0330 EST TWR, Tartu, 08/01, Russian, IS, ID, 1035 kHz schedule (1900-2100 and 0300-0500), etc., then "Responsibility" ans "Six days" programs - good-fair with local noise and one unidentified station in the background QSL in 18 days

7270 0358-0408 IND AIR Chennai, Madras, 08/01, Hindi, YL/OM talks, Indian songs - almost fair with splashes from 7275 (TUN), //7290 poor under local noise

7430 0409-0419 IND AIR Mumbai, Bhopal, 08/01, Hindi, YL/OM talks, Indian songs - poor with local noise and splashes from both sides (AWR + BBC)

6250 0545-0615 GNE R. Nacional, Malabo, 08/01, Spanish, OM talks with one mention of "Radio Nacional" at 05.58 and pop music, news with some phone reports - fair, then poor due to downward propagation and periodical RTTY QRM Hope for a QSL

11995 *0957-1059* GUM KSDA, Agat, 09/01, Mandarin, opening ann in English and Mandarin, then long OM talk and one slow song at 1029 without any final ann - very good-good approx. till 1050, then good-fair due to the downward propagation Hope for a QSL

11590 1305-1335 KWT R. Free Asia, Kuwait, 09/01, Tibetan, mostly OM/YL talks with phone reports and short musical pauses - good-fair with fading (deep under 1320-1322) and CNR1 as jamming on the same channel, //11590 good Hope for a QSL

11870 *1500-1557 G R. Liberty, Woofferton, 09/01, Russian, ID, news (also headlines at 1530) and then Kristina Gorelik with her "Trety sektor" (Third sector) program - mostly good till 1545-1550, then fair-poor due to the downward propagation Hope for a QSL

3200 1808-1824 SWZ TWR, Manzini, 09/01, English, OM religious talk, 1815 music, YL ann and one more religious program tentatively called "The world today" - poor with fading and local noise

3345 1825-1830'50* AFS AWR, Meyerton, 09/01, English, OM talk, final ann, orchestral music, 1830 SENTECH "no feed" music theme - almost good with some fading

3287.5 1835-1910 MDG R. Madagasikara, Antananarivo (tent.), 09/01, pop music at least under noise, but it is too difficult to say 100 % about its identity with // 5010 (that left the air already at 1853 this evening) - weak under utility DRM-like noise on 3288-3289 and local noise

3230 1912-1920 AFS WYFR, Meyerton, 09/01, English, Harold Camping answers to phone questions from listeners - almost good with some fading and local noise (also 3255 fair and 3345 good were on the air at this time from Meyerton)

963 *0259-0344 FNL CRI Beijing, Pori, 17/01, Russian, ID, news and "Current events", then "Saturday concert" - mostly good with slight fading, local noise and weak station in the background Hope for a QSL

7100 1305-1323* UNID Arabic (SDN ex. 7200?), 17/01, non stop Arabic songs - strong signal, but fair and sometime poor only with a lot of SSB QRM

3200 0330-0340* SWZ TWR, Manzini, 24/01, Ndau, OM talks, final choral singing, short OM ann and some IS - strong, but but fair only due to fading and local noise

4775 0344-0358* SWZ TWR, Manzini, 24/01, Lomwe, OM talks with mentions of this Mozambiquean language, choral singing and orchestral music - almost good at the beginning with some fading and bubble jamming near 4780, then fair-poor with more deep fading and local noise

6185 0645-0720 B RN da Amazonia, Brasilia, 24/01, Portuguese, OM talks with ID at 0659 and a lot of Brazilian songs - fair at the beginning, then fair-poor with fading, local noice and slisght splashes from 6190 (DLF) Hope for a QSL

12105 0730-0759 GRC Voice of Greece, Alvis, 24/01, Russian, usual ID with mention of 665 and 12105 kHz, short story about orange history in Greece and Russian pop songs of the 80s and 90s - excellent Hope for a QSL

11980 0905-0922 UKR R. Dniprovska Khvylia, Zaporozhye (tent. location), 24/01, Ukrainian (relay UR-1 program //5970), OM talks on local president election campaign - good-fair with fading and CRI in the background (poor after 0920), also slight transmitter hum

4500 1445-1525 CHN Xinjiang PBS, Urumqui, 24/01, Mongolian, nice Chinese orchestral music, YL/OM ann and YL talk, then two fragments of some theatrical performance - good with some fading and local noise, //6190 fair-poor under DLF and BLR Hope for a QSL

4820 1557-1630 CHN Tibet PBS, Lhasa, 24/01, Chinese, nice pop song, ID, news, some short YL/OM ann like advertising, more YL/OM talks with musical fragments and birds whit in the background - good-fair with some fading and local noise, //6050 fair Hope for a QSL

7145 1320-1345 LAO Lao National Radio, Vientiane, 30/01, French, YL talk, pop song, 1333 opening ann in English, then OM news, etc. - poor with a lot of SSB QRM from radio amateurs Hope for a QSL

15140 1415-1445 OMA Radio Sultanate of Oman, Thumrait, 30/01, English, western rap-style pop songs, OM ID with mention of 90,4 FM and news at 1430 - poor with high level of local noise and fading Hope for a QSL

9690/15120 1616-1628'45*, *1629'21-1650 NIG Voice of Nigeria, Ikorodu, 30/01, Igbo/Arabic, ID as "Voice of Nigeria", OM talks and phone reports with a lot of mentions of Nigeria, YL opening ann, Quran singing, etc. - very strong signal this evening on 9690, but good-fair only due to the splashes from both sides (CNR/RFE), 15120 mostly fair with deep fading and local noise Hope for a QSL

5885 1715-1729'27* CVA Vatican R., Santa Maria di Galeria, 30/01, English, world news including Afghan, US-China, Somali and other subjects - good with slight fading Hope for a QSL
