15140 1950-2005 OMA R. Sultanate of Oman, Thumrait, 13/07, Arabic, OM news reports with short musical pauses, 1957'32, 2000'18, 2002'02, 2002'24 and 2002'30 IDs as "Izaatul Jumhuriyati Oman", 1959'52 chimes, choral national anthem, etc. - fair with fading and local noise

7811U 0045-0053, 0101- USA AFRTS, Key West, 19/07, English, OM/YL talks, news reports at 0101 - poor, //12133.5 weak, no any signals at this time on 4319 or 12759 via Diego Garcia

9955 0320-0330 USA WRMI, Miami, 19/07, Spanish, OM/YL talks with mention of Cuba and tentative ID at 0327 as Radio Republica, Latin American songs - poor under local noise and Cuban noise jamming (first heard here in St.Petersburg for many years)

9677.7v *0503'54-0524'35* AZE R. Nagorny Karabakh, Stepanakert, 24/07, Azeri, open carrier during one minute, then mostly YL talks with orchestral music in the pauses (including short final fragment of the Twin Peaks theme) - strong signal, but fair only due to poor modulation and local noise

7275 1532-1548 CHN PBS Xinjiang, Urumqui, 24/07, Uighur, OM talk with mentions of communist party and Xinjiang, 1545 musical pause, then OM talk again - fair-good with CNR1 on the same channel, //6120 fair-good, 7205 fair-poor and 11885 fair-good

7295 1554-1606 MLA TraXX FM, Kajang, 24/07, English, rock songs, time pips and YL news at 1600, then next song - strong signal, but mostly fair due to VOA in Persian on the same channel

11870 1047-1105 ALS KNLS, Anchor Point, 25/07, Chinese, OM/YL talks, country-style song, OM final short talk, pause, 1100'00-1102'08 interval signals with OM ID, then YL/OM short talk, song - mostly poor and almost fair on the top of hour with deep fading and local noise, no any signs of their signal on 11765 at the same time

12759U 1107-1124 BIO AFRTS, Diego Garcia, 25/07, English, CBS program with OM dialogues and reports about electronics, video games, competitiveness of the American and Chinese firms, etc. - fair and even almost good

15525 2228-2248 AUS HCJB, Kunurrura, 27/07, Chinese, YL talks and nice songs, English OM ann with ID and postal address at 2329 - almost good with some fading (only three other stations with good signal level were found on 19 m.b. at this time including 15110 (REE Noblejas), 15145 (VOA Tinang) and 15415 (RA Shepparton))

5985.8 2304-2314 BRM R. Myanmar, Yangon, 27/07, Burmese, local folk songs, OM talk starting from 2312'15 - fair-almost good with slight fading and local noise

11710.6 0044-0104 ARG RAE, Buenos Aires, 28/07, Portuguese, YL talks including commentary about Maradona's withdrawal from the national team and ID at 0046'40 as "Esta es RAE - a Voz Argentina el Mundo", Argentine song and classical music, interval signals and IDs in various languages starting from 0057'02, then Japanese program starting from 0102'02 - unusually strong signal at the beginning, then fair-almost good with fading, DRM-like utility QRM on 11709 and splashes from 11700 (BUL)

15710 1620-1700'09* SVK R. Miraya FM, Rimavska Sobota, 29/07, Arabic, long dialogues between two OMs with many mentions of Khartoum and Sudan, instrumental music, ID jingles, final English OM ann with mentions of NEXUS and IRRS - mostly fair and even slightly better with fading and local noise till 1657'30, then poor due to RNW via Wertachtal Hope for a QSL

7125 2140-2206 GUI Radiodiffusion-Television Guineenne, Conakry, 29/07, Vernacular (I think - Susu, Fulani and/or Mandingo), YL talk with mentions of some West African countries, 2143'56 OM talk with mentions of Conacry and Camara, 2200'24 French OM talks with fragments of local music and simple ID at 2201'23 as "Radio Guinée" - fair and even better despite to deep fading and local noise

6165 2218-2234 VTN Voice of Vietnam 4th program, Hanoi, 29/07, Hmong as scheduled, mostly YL talks with fragments of Vietnamese music, 2228'27 music and OM/YL talks in Dao as scheduled almost good with slight fading, local noise and splashes from 6175 (CRI)

6160 2254-2314, 2328-2332 CAN CKZN, St.John's, 29/07, English, mostly YL/OM talks including YL news at 2300 with OM reports weak and best in LSB, 'S-peak" at around 2310

9479.0 2316-2326, 2359-2359'38* USA WTWW, Lebanon, 29/07, English, OM religious talk poor and best in LSB to avoid strong heterodyne (CNR)

13680 2345-2358'35* CUB R. Nacional de Venezuela, La Habana, 29/07, Spanish, mostly OM talks with mention of Cuba/Cubano, 2357 interval signal and final OM ann with full ID almost fair with deep fading and local noise
